Please click below for template letters members may wish to use to write to their line managers should they have health and safety concerns about the planned return to campus during the pandemic. We suggest you also copy in the branch to your letter, using administrator@warwickucu.org.uk. These letters have been provided by UCU National and lightly adapted to be Warwick-specific, and you will need to adapt them to your specific situation.
Template letters for casualised workers have now been added below. There are separate templates for casualised workers who teach, and those who do not teach. For simplicity, the casualised worker letters are drafted for people ‘with no particular relevant characteristics’, but if you are a casualised worker who is clinically vulnerable, from a BAME background, older, with an anxiety or depression related condition, and/or pregnant, please see the relevant template(s) for additional text you can use.
Templates updated 29.9.20 to reflect concerns about Warwick’s ‘Covid Age Tool’.
