Wider Solidarity

Trans Rights

Warwick UCU has been actively engaged in recent events following the announcement by the High Court that, under current UK legislation, sex is defined on biological grounds. The University reacted to this by updating its policy to ban people from using bathroom facilities that suit their chosen gender. As a result of Warwick UCU’s actions in conjunction with the actions of communities across the University, these changes were revoked.

For further details on this and groups across the University, or for guidance on reporting issues, changing details and other ways to get involved, please visit this webpage.

Below are the letter and responses from the University.
