Welcome to Warwick UCU’s web pages!
Warwick UCU is a branch of The University and College Union (UCU), a national trades union for workers in higher and further institutions. These professionals include academic staff such as lecturers and researchers, and academic-related staff like librarians, administrators, managers, and computing professionals.
UCU is recognised by higher and further education employers at a national level, and by many individual institutions locally throughout the UK, for the purposes of negotiating salaries, pay structures and conditions of employment.
Warwick UCU provides advice and support to members employed at the University of Warwick. We negotiate with the University on behalf of our members on a variety of topics. We offer individual support for members in relation to difficulties encountered as part of their employment at Warwick. Please see the news pages for details of current activities.
If you would like to join UCU, visit the myUCU page to find out more about membership, including whether or not you are eligible to join. Warwick UCU works in conjunction with UNISON and Unite across the University. Please see the joint unions webpage for details on which union is most attuned to your needs.
If you are already a member and would like to get more involved, please visit our About Us page to find out about current opportunities at all levels.
